Other Programs/Providers: If you are subscribed to Heritage Auction Galleries, but are not receiving e-mails, it's possible that the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or company is blocking them, perhaps because they think Heritage Auction Galleries is junk mail.

What you can do to fix this:

  • Get in touch with technical support at your ISP or company and explain the problem. If they are blocking e-mail from Heritage Auction Galleries, ask them to stop. One way they can do this is to place Bid@HA.com on an e-mail "safe list.
  • Some web-based e-mail systems allow you to set your own safe list. Look for it in the settings section, and add "HA.com" and "Bid@HA.com (without the quotes.) If you have to enter a complete address, use "Heritage Auction Galleries.com". Some e-mail systems, such as AOL 8.0, require a sender to be in your address book to keep the e-mail from diverted to a junk mail folder. If your system is like this, add "HA.com" or Bid@HA.com (without the quotes) to your address book.
  • If all else fails, try signing up under another internet account, or consider changing ISPs to a provider that does not block your e-mail.

Finally:
One vital thing you can do that helps no matter what e-mail system you're using is this, add the following domain and e-mail address to your address book:

Domain: HA.com
Address: Bid@HA.com

In addition, if you have a junk e-mail folder, bulk e-mail folder, Spam folder, or anything similar, please check it regularly. The overwhelming majority of the e-mail that gets put into these folders belongs there. But if 99% of what goes into a Spam folder is actually Spam, that means that you're probably missing something you want to see around the time the 100th e-mail comes in, and these days that doesn't take very long.
